Ladybugs textilesNicola Briggs & Liz Clark, mixed media BA (hons) graduates are already setting up their exclusive textiles company 'Ladybugs'. Prior to their graduation they were awarded £5000 for their business plan from the enterprise Inc competition.

As well as their prestigious award and sponsorship package Nicola and Liz have won the Amtico flooring competition for innovative flooring design, gained 2nd and 3rd place in a competition designing boys knitwear for an international clothing company and have been short listed for the hallmark cards competition.

Nicola and Liz have a clear talent in designing which hasn’t gone unrecognised.

Liz and Nicola’s dream of being self-employed and starting their own business is now turning in to reality. They explain how excited they are about the fresh and quirky textiles collections they are developing in their home studios ready for the Adur festival.

These refreshingly different designs appealing to adults and children alike will be on show at their open house.

The house will be transformed into a showroom for the products, they have incorporated these into the home environment.

Ladybugs have been inspired by the world around them. Collections featuring in the Adur festival include funfairs for children’s bedrooms, industrial architecture for home interiors and bugs for children’s accessories.

Products available will include cushions, throws, lampshades, canvases, bags, purses, corsages, and a variety of products for children.

All products for sale will be clearly labelled.
